My Top Products of 2017


2017 was a great year for me, but not for my bank account. Whoops!
Here are my top beauty products of 2017 in no particular order:


Mac highlighter & Cover FX custom dropsCover FX -Custom Enhancer Drops - Candlelight


Even though these may seem pretty pricey to some, they last a very long time.  Currently I mix these with my foundation or apply before my foundation to give me a nice glow.

Mac - Highlight - Double Gleam

This highlighter goes with every look and looks awesome on the brow bone.

Butter Bronzer & Kevyn Aucoin Contour PowderPhysicians Formula - Butter Bronzer - Light

This is easily the best bronzer that I have ever tried. I'm very pale at the moment so the light shade is pretty accurate for my skin tone at the moment but I will definitely be buying the darker shade for the summer.  It says it in the name it goes on just like butter, no blotchiness which I sometimes get with bronzers.

Kevyn Aucoin - Sculpting Powder - Light

Mac Studio Fix foundationI accidentally received this in a BeautyBay order I made. And it was the best accident ever!! I do not think I will ever find a contour powder that will apply as beautifully as this.

Mac - Studio Fix - NC 20 & NC 25

No matter how many foundation I try (and I have tried so many in this past year) I always go back to my trusty Studio Fix.  I currently only use it for nights/days out as both shades are a little dark for me at the moment without my tan.  I have very oily skin and this is the only foundation that does not fail me.

I have been trying to find the ultimate pomade.  I've tried both ABH and Freedom but Benefits Ka-Brow is definitely the best out of all three.

Keeps my brows in place. What else can you ask for in a brow gel?

Tarte - Shape Tape - Fair & Fair Neutral

The best concealer that I have found so far! It has a thick consistency and tbh I don't really have to set it as it drys pretty matte.  The only down fall is getting it to the UK from Tarte.  I have had both my concealers from May last year and they have quite a bit left in the tubes so it is definitely worth the price tag.


Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar Palette Too faced - Semi Sweet Palette

I'm not going to lie I have many favourite palettes but this has been my go to for my day-to-day looks.  Having to be out the house early in the morning for either University or the school run I don't normally have much time for dramatic eye looks during the week so this is amazing for casual looks.  It smells delicious too!

Kat Von D - Tattoo Liner - Trooper

Marc Jacobs Mascara & Kat Von D Tattoo Liner I honestly think this will forever be my favourite liner.  Easy to use and stays on all day.  It's also jet black and not grey like some black liners I have tried.

Marc Jacobs - Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara - Noir 


I received this from Influenser last year and I absolutely love it!  It makes my eyelashes long and voluminous and I have frequently been asked if I am wearing falsies.

Sol de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum CreamSol de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

This is my third tub of this cream. Even though it is so expensive I will continue to buy it.  It smells divine.  I feel like I am on a beach somewhere every time I used it.

January - Beauty Haul

My plan for January was to save money after spending so much at Christmas time.  As you can see from the title this did not happen.  Although I did not spend as much as I normally would. Violet Voss - Hashtag palette  Now, how beautiful is this?  When I first opened up the box I was unsure whether I would actually use it or not.  I am happy to tell you guys that I LOVE IT !!
